have strong communication skills and display resilience and courage in challenging situations, we encourage you to apply.<p> <div><p><strong>About the role:<strong><p><ul> <li>Provide advice and direct offenders to appropriate support programs <li> <li>Compile detailed offender profiles to assist in their assessment <li> <li>Prepare reports to Courts, State Parole Authority and other judicial bodies<li> <li>Develop, implement and monitor long and short term goals and strategies for offenders<li> <li>Provide reports and documentary to enforce community based sentencing orders<li> <li>Maintain a working relationship with external agencies <li> <li>Use interviewing techniques to assist offenders in changing their behaviour and attitudes<li> <li>Co-facilitate offender programs<li> <ul><p><strong>The role offers:<strong> <p><ul> <li>$85,488 pa + super and annual leave<li> <li>35 hour week Monday to Friday<li> <li>Diverse workplace with equal opportunity<li> <li>Access to staff benefits <li> <li>Supportive team environment<li> <li>Paid training and development <li> <ul><p><strong>About you:<strong><p><ul> <li>Stay calm in highly pressured environments and work through difficult issues <li> <li>Engage and translate complex information concisely for a diverse audience<li> <li>Motivated and committed to achieving challenging goals <li> <li>Write fluently in a range of styles and formats<li> <li>Influence and negotiate from an informed and credible position<li> <li>Show sensitivity and understanding in resolving conflicts and differences<li> <li>Research and analyse information and make recommendations based on relevant evidence<li> <li>Demonstrate accountability by assessing work outcomes and share learnings<li> <li>Have intermediate knowledge of computer applications<li> <li>Manage and develop people <li> <ul><p><strong>Essential Requirements of the role:<strong><p><ul> <li>Skills in case management reporting by analysing information with the ability to draw relevant conclusions<li> <li>Understanding of the NSW criminal justice system<li> <li>Experience in promoting, influencing, negotiating and monitoring appropriate behaviour<li> <li>Current driver’s license (with no restrictions)<li> <li>Australia or New Zealand Citizen or Permanent Resident<li> <ul><p><strong>
