Western Health is seeking a Grade 3 Radiographer with advanced clinical knowledge and leadership skills in the field of MRI.
The Medical Imaging Department has a MRI service that is run by a cohesive, innovative and expanding team. The successful candidate will assist the MRI Supervisor and Chief Radiographer in the effective and efficient operation of MRI and the future expansion of the service into the New Footscray Hospital.
The MRI Department consists of;
- GE 3T and GE 1.5T rebateable MRI scanners located at Sunshine and Footscray Hospitals
- Patients include a wide and varied caseload of MSK, breast, neuro, abdominal, pelvic, cardiac and paediatric and general imaging.
The Grade 3 MRI Radiographer will be required to work; across campuses, a variety of shifts, participate in call and train in other modalities.

- Extensive experience and advanced knowledge in MRI
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work unsupervised and participate in the team environment
- Experience in team leadership and training
- Have a strong patient focus and excellent client service skills
