<div style="font-size:10pt"><strong>Clinical Nurse Educator - Spinal Injuries<strong><br > Are you passionate about Education? The Spinal Injuries Uhit is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide clinical leadership and supervision in the role of Clinical Nurse Educator. The position is full time temproary until June 2022.<br > <br > <strong>Where you'll be working<strong><br > <span style="font-size:10.0pt"><span>The Spinal Cord Injury Unit is an 18 bed ward that provides a state wide service within NSW. Our patients do not only have a spinal cord injury but have very complex needs which allows for staff development within a range of specialities,

including respiratory, gastroenterology, urology, fertility sexuality, skeletal and integumentary issues. We look after acute spinal cord injured patients, as well as readmission of established patients who are acutely unwell.  We offer the opportunity to undertake advanced skill and knowledge development in wound assessment, tracheostomy management and a variety of ventilation modes. The unit has a great team environment which provides great support for new starters and a multi-disciplinary approach to deliver a very high standard of care. Staff are supported by an experienced team led by the NUM, CNE & CNC’s.<span><span><br > <br > <strong>What you'll be doing<strong> <div style="font-size:10pt"><strong><em>The NSLHD Nursing and Midwifery Workforce will be compassionate, competent, confident, contemporary, capable and committed to leading person-centred health care<em><strong>.<br > <br > The Clinical Nurse Educator will be guided by the Nurse Unit Manager and Clinical Nurse Consultant in leading, developing, co-ordinated and implementing all structured learning for nurses within NSLHD.<br > <br > The Clinical Nurse Educator will provide clinical teaching, orientation, skill accreditation and professional development support for all nursing staff and students.   <br > <br > The Clinical Nurse Educator will have a role in the provision of hospital orientation and mandatory training. They will also be expected to teach in courses appropriate to nursing within and at facilities external to NSLHD.  <br > <br > The Clinical Nurse Educator will participate in the development and teaching of the NSLHD Nursing Professional Development Program (this includes travelling to other sites within the LHD for lecturing and facilitation of workshops).<div> <div style="font-size:10pt"> <div> <div style="font-size:10pt"><strong>Employment Type<strong>: Temporary Full Time until 24 June 2022<br > <strong>Position Classification<strong>: Clinical Nurse Educator<br > <strong>Remuneration<strong>: $1870.10 - $1930.80 per week<br > <strong>Hours Per Week<strong>: 38<br > <strong>Requisition ID<strong>: REQ195852<div> <div style="font-size:10pt"> <div> <div style="font-size:10pt"><em>Note you must have suitable Australian work rights to be eligible to be appointed to this role<em><div> <div> <div style="font-size:10pt"> <ol> <li>Consistently demonstrates behaviours that reinforce the CORE Values of our organisation; Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment.
