Science and Technology Tech transfer Lead for a 12mth fixed term opportunity to join our Manufacturing, Science and Technology (MS&T;) team in Parkville (Australia). The MS&T; Tech transfer Lead is responsible for delivering the manufacturing process design and providing technical expertise for a project at our Broadmeadows site. Working closely with stakeholders across a number of different functions in this interesting role, the MS&T; Tech transfer lead will: Track and deliver to the project timelines and milestones and deliver a manufacturing process for the assigned projects by providing subject matter expertise related to manufacturing processes, procedures and equipment operations. Lead the design of the Seqirus manufacturing process including selection of equipment, consumables for the new process based on the incumbent’s knowledge of drug product operations including recombinant protein therapies and vaccine manufacturing. Influence related project activities to integrate the process into the upstream/downstream manufacturing stages. Be lead interface between MS&T;, Manufacturing, R&D;, AS&T; and Quality teams as well as the Program Management function to ensure project success, manage operational risks and safeguard health, safety and the working environment. Ensure the manufacturing processes are fully integrated and aligned with the Seqirus procedures. Actively participate in the Vaccine project team and lead collaboration to deliver the project as required Be Responsible for knowledge transfer and process expertise to assigned Manufacturing Leads. The candidate we are seeking must possess: Bachelor’s Degree in chemical/mechanical/systems engineering, science, or equivalent. Minimum 7- 10 years’ related industry experience. Direct experience with regulated industries such as pharmaceutical or FMCG. Direct experience with GMPs and sterile manufacturing is preferred. Experience of biopharmaceutical production processes.
