The Opportunity

Reporting to the Head of HR, our Organisational Development Specialist will develop and implement contemporary employee experience programs to meet Sigma’s workforce capability needs, and support business improvement initiatives. The role will take the lead across a range of OD and HR projects ensuring these are successfully embedded (talent, performance and engagement) to deliver value to our people and our business. The role will have impact across all facets of the business including distribution centres, office-based teams and all subsidiary businesses.

Their proven OD experience will demonstrate their ability to deliver high quality, pragmatic solutions, and engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop and implement with key operational stakeholders, the organisational capability, leadership development and competency framework for team members across the Sigma Group;

- Design and deliver leadership programs to support our leadership capability;

- Lead and drive Sigma culture enhancement strategies and engagement programs including engagement surveys to support and sustainably build on our organisational culture;

- Engage with senior leaders and the broader HR team to enhance workforce capability and planning by developing and embedding talent management, delivering succession pipelines and other related systems and strategies;

- Support people leaders in the business with coaching and individual development needs;

- Ensure the EVP is articulated and understood as well as leveraged across the full employee lifecycle through attraction, onboarding, engagement, progression and retention.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

- Qualification in organisational development, human resources or equivalent

- Sound experience in OD and Employee experience practices including attraction, onboarding, engaging, development and supporting performance.

- Outstanding stakeholder engagement and management skills, with proven experience in partnering with all levels of the business.

- LSI accreditation would be advantageous as would a Cert IV qualification

- Experience with organisational engagement surveys, analysing results and driving key actionable outcomes

- Experience in designing and implementing capability and leadership frameworks for all levels of leadership

- Demonstrated people management and interpersonal skills, and experience in working with all levels of management including at the most senior level.

- Exposure to and an interest in exploring technological enablers.

- Highly developed IT skills (e.g. PowerPoint, learning materials, eLearning) to create training materials, and excellent presentation skills
