Team Manager Level 1

We have three vacancies for a Team Manager to join our Kemps Creek Team in NSW. The shifts available are:

- Sunday to Thursday pm shift 4pm to midnight

- Monday to Friday am shift 8am to 4pm

- Tuesday to Saturday am 6am to 2pm (4:30 am to 1pm Saturday)

You will be a key member of the Management Team tasked with working with the wider DC Team to ensure the Operation meets all required standards in relation to safety, Customer service, commercial metrics, accuracy standards and excellent employee engagement.

About the role

- Ensuring all warehouse team member activities and tasks are carried out in line with SOPs

- Implementation of productivity, quality and customer service standards to achieve the appropriate level of volume within time limits and at required cost

- Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and team performance

- Manage a team responsible for delivering agreed outputs within tight turnaround timeframes and with a focus of achieving high levels of accuracy

- Engage team to implement continuous improvement initiatives

- Develop, implement and report on measures to save costs

- Develop, implement and enforce standard operating procedures and work instructions, including Health & Safety, quality control, ensuring all team members adhere to the preferred methods of performing their work

- Develop, and manage effective waste management protocols.

- Work with the wider Team to build a great Team culture focused on the Sigma key values

Skills and experience you will bring include:

- 5 years’ experience in multi SKU FMCG warehouse operation at a supervisory or frontline management level

- Use of warehouse technology systems i.e. RF, automation

- High security focus

- Demonstrated people management skills – motivating and leading a team

- Delivery of Health & Safety policy and initiatives, including Return to Work

- Demonstrated implementation of continuous improvement initiatives

- Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and planning skills

- A collaborative Team player

- Knowledge of SAP would be highly desirable

- Experience of 3PL operations essential
