St Emilie's Catholic Primary School
We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and suitably qualified Social Worker to provide a quality counselling service for our community.
This position is a Part-time (0.4) Temporary position, commencing 1st January 2021. The days of this position are to be negotiated with the Principal, however we have a preference for one of these days to be a Wednesday.

St Emilie's Catholic Primary School in Canning Vale is a double stream, co-educational, multicultural primary school catering for students from Kindergarten to Year 6.
We have a cohesive, dedicated and professional staff and a friendly, supportive and pastoral school community.

The successful applicant will be required to:
- work professionally and cooperatively with the leadership team and with staff
- counsel students and families
- assist with referrals to outside agencies
- authentically nurture positive, respectful, relationships with students, staff and families
- consistently demonstrate excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
- promote well-being at all levels of our community
- An appropriate tertiary qualification - preferably a degree in Social Work or similar
- Be supportive of the ethos and objectives of Catholic Education
- Possession of ‘Accreditation to Work in a Catholic School’ - considered an advantage.
