Position details


This is a part-time position commencing 1st January 2021 to 31st December 2021, with the opportunity of ongoing employment.

St Mary's is a co-educational Catholic school of 130 students from Kindergarten to Year 6 and was established by the Mercy sisters in 1916. St Mary's is situated only 36 kilometres from Bunbury and 206kms from Perth. The school is committed to improving student outcomes through whole school implementation of PRIME maths, Letters and Sounds and Soundwave Programs. The school has a committed and dynamic staff which collaborates effectively to provide a great environment for learning.

Selection Criteria:

• Suitably qualified to teach Italian or Inodensian from Pre Primary to Year 6.

• Demonstrates sound knowledge of the LOTE-Western Australian Curriculum

• Differentiates the teaching and learning program to cater for individual differences

• Displays excellent classroom management and organisational skills

• Demonstrate a passion for teaching and a commitment to continuous professional growth and development

• Demonstrates the capacity and enthusiasm to build positive and constructive relationships with students, staff and parents

Qualifications Required:

Relevant tertiary qualification.
