Position details


The College is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced ICT Technician who will support the ICT Department in maintaining reliable and effective technology resources and to provide accessible end user support. The ICT Technician will be the first point of contact at the Help Desk for students, staff and parents to log, enquire upon and seek resolution of system, hardware and software faults and requests.

Selection Criteria:

Essential Skills

• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, suited to interacting with both adults and students (years K-12)

• Well-developed analytical and problem solving skills

• Well-developed organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work tasks

• Working as an effective team member with group projects and sharing of information

• An interest in maintaining an up to date knowledge of IT through Journals, forums and professional development.

• A current Working with Children Check and National Police History check (or be willing to obtain)


• Relevant work experience in a school environment

Qualifications Required:

• Certificate IV in Information Technology
