Position details


St Luke’s Catholic Primary School caters for children from Pre Kindy to Year Six. This well-resourced school is positioned in a beautiful environment next to Yelogonga Regional , St Luke’s places strong emphasis on community and on excellence in teaching and learning.

Selection Criteria:

• Be a practising Catholic and fully supportive of the objectives and ethos of Catholic Education.

• Be an exemplary, enthusiastic educator who works well with their peers to plan for and implement teaching programs that improve student outcomes.

• A comprehensive knowledge of the West Australian Curriculum with the ability to organise, select and design content for effective teaching and differentiated learning.

• Excellent planning and organisational skills.

• Competent use of digital technologies, and inquiry-based learning that engages students in a contemporary learning environment.

• Demonstrate excellent classroom management and organisational skills that create a supportive and safe environment.

• Understand the importance of developing positive relationships with children, staff and parents and can demonstrate evidence of such actions.

• Demonstrate an ability to take on extra roles and be involved in extra-curricular activities.

Qualifications Required:

• Relevant four year tertiary qualification and

• Accreditation to Teach Religious Education Learning Area, or the ability to achieve Accreditation to Teach Religious Education
