:

Situated in the picturesque Avon Valley, 80 mins from Perth, St Joseph’s School is a Catholic co-educational K-12 School with approximately 730 students on two campuses. The temporary, full-time position commences from 1 January 2021. Applications close: 3.00pm Friday 18 November 2020.

Selection Criteria:

Special skills are needed and applications are invited from applicants who possess the following attributes:



- a Catholic teacher holding an Accreditation to Teach Religious Education



- able to demonstrate highly competent classroom management and learning area skills

- possess a sound knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum

- be a creative, flexible and enthusiastic educator who understands and can demonstrate the importance of Technology being embedded and integrated into the classroom

- experience with or an understanding of Explicit Instruction and Classroom Differentiation

- be an enthusiastic and cooperative team person who will work collaboratively with all teachers and the Leadership Team

- be able to work closely with the Parish and parents

- show initiative and participate fully in school activities

- demonstrate a high degree of professionalism and excellent communication and organisational skills



Qualifications Required:



- Accreditation requirements as specified by the Catholic Education Office

- Relevant 4 year tertiary qualifications
