About the Team
The ThreatMetrix engineering team is an international team that includes experts in device identification, device intelligence, fraud detection, real time systems, Software as a Service (SaaS) applications, machine learning, and data analytics. We are an Agile engineering team using concepts such as Scrum, Continuous Integration, self-organizing teams, and Continuous Improvement.
About the Position
LexisNexis Risk Solutions is looking for a highly talented and experienced C++ programmer that has a passion for developing complex, mission critical software. Understanding of performance and how the underlying system is wired together should always be a goal, and the ability to write easy to understand,
concise and elegant code a must. The applicant will need good communication skills and be able to work with remote teams. Our team is growing quickly, and each day brings new challenges and each year the performance requirements increase. The team is a diverse group of highly skilled engineers.
- Clear and effective communicator of technical issues
- Team player who works effectively with others
- Detail Oriented
- Ability to work with geographically dispersed teams
- Ability to accept constructive criticism and provide feedback (eg code reviews).
- Expert C++
- Knowledge of modern C++ (C++11 and above) a bonus, understanding the underlying principles and mechanisms a must.
- Threaded and concurrent programming
- Low latency experience a bonus
- At least 5 years C++ development, 10 years is ideal.
- Experienced with writing unit tests
