About the role

We have an opportunity for a Manager, Strategic Workforce Planning to be part of our Workforce Strategy & Analytics, People & Culture team. The Manager, Strategic Workforce Planning leads and manages a team in the design and delivery of workforce planning strategies, including the management of change, in support of the organisation’s strategic and operational plans. The role is responsible for providing information, advice and services as required, and ensuring a robust NSWPF strategic workforce plan is developed and continuously reviewed to meet operational and organisational needs for the future of policing in NSW.

This is a temporary role and employment is either as temporary employment under Rule 11 of the Government Sector Employment (NSW Police Force) Rules 2017, temporary assignment under Rule 15 of the Government Sector Employment (NSW Police Force) Rules 2017 or a secondment under section 95 of the Police Act 1990 up to 14 months.

Essential requirements  

- Obtain and maintain the requisite security clearance for this role.

- Demonstrated knowledge or experience in strategic workforce planning and project management, and / or relevant tertiary qualifications.

- Demonstrated skills in undertaking workforce projections and trend analysis utilising current systems and tools.
