Company Information Description
This position is a little different to the usual administrative support role as part of our service to the community. The State Records Office of Western Australia regulates the management of government information and ensures permanent access to the essential evidence of the business of government in Western Australia.
This is a full-time (1.0 FTE) , fixed-term vacancy, for a period of 6 months with a possibility of extension and/or permanency.
Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy,
applicants for this position may be considered for ‘similar’ vacancies within the Department and/or the wider public sector which arise within a reasonable period of time. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Future vacancies may be considered for and fixed term, part- time and full- time positions.
This position is based in the Perth Cultural Centre at the State Library / State Archives building.
This position provides a range of administrative and clerical support for the State Records Office (SRO) and State Records Commission (SRC). The support is critical in ensuring the SRO supports the SRC effectively; and that the SRO team serves its clients efficiently.
