Senior People Partner



About the opportunity



The Senior People Partner will partner with senior business leaders to deliver on the business strategy through its people. The role will be based in Sydney, report to the Head of People Partnering and Organisational Design and focus on people partnering, coaching, organizational design and change, employee relations, and cyclical people activities. Your client group will include Communications, Legal and Risk, Finance, IT, PMO, and Strategy. This will initially be a stand-alone role.  Ideally, we prefer someone full-time however we would consider a 4 day week for the ideal candidate.



Typically, in this role you will:





- Use people insights to define and drive actionable people plans to deliver business results

- Provide leadership support and coaching with a focus on building leader capability, shifting culture and lifting performance

- Drive and support senior business leaders in the introduction of initiatives developed to drive operating efficiency, productivity and organisational effectiveness

- Work with Centres of Excellence (CoEs) to shape the design and delivery of people strategy to meet business needs

- Advise and support cyclical people activities including performance management and development, engagement and talent management

- Support leaders with managing employee relations matters

- Act as a change agent and lead organisation transformation initiatives and complex change programs

- Assist with the continuous development and upskill within the People Partnering and broader People and Culture team



About you



To be successful in this role, you'll come equipped with:



- Undergraduate tertiary qualification with a minimum of eight years' experience in HR

- Proven ability to partner and influence with a wide range of stakeholders, coupled with commercial acumen to deliver business results

- Ability to coach and build leader capability

- A track record in leading complex change programs that deliver measurable outcomes

- Organisational design expertise

- Expert knowledge of NES, Fairwork Act, and Modern Awards

- HR experience in the financial sector would be highly desirable
