The position of HR Advisor reports to the Business Administration Manager and General Manager and is responsible for the areas inclusive of Development of HR framework & Strategy, Recruitment, Employee Relations and Learning and Development. The main of the role is to maintain company compliance with Australian workplace laws, develop and standardise a HR framework to achieve alignment of HR Strategy with organisational goals.

Description



Role requirements include



Development of HR framework and Strategy





Developing and standardising HR policies and procedures



Supporting implementation and improvement of a performance appraisal process



Supporting senior management with the creation of a remuneration and benefits framework



Development of retention and attraction strategies



Develop and implement culture and values of the brand



Align HR strategies with organisational goals



Recruitment function



End to end recruitment for head office and store management staff



Liaising with external recruitment agencies as required



Development and standardisation of the recruitment function



Recruitment administration of employment contracts and new starter paperwork



Employee Relations



Providing best HR advice to internal stakeholders in all areas relating to the HR function and employment law



Interpret relevant Awards, Agreements and legislation and provide advice on queries



Management of disciplinary processes and workplace investigations



Liaising with external parties for legal advice as required



Workplace VISA requirements



Manage the helpline and complaints procedure



Employee risk management



Managing workcover and OHS reporting



Ensuring Australian workplace laws and compliance



Learning & Development



Planning and implementing training requirements within training budget



Identifying and developing talent



Management of Gal & HR Administrator



Creating and implementing a strategy for learning and development



Performance management



Reward & Recognition



Support senior management with succession planning



Liaise with relevant external parties for training requirements



Other



Identifying HR gaps and developing and implementing HR projects as required



Partnering with relevant stakeholders for HR related projects



Employee data base and contract administration/management



Reporting - preparation of relevant periodic HR reports as required



Supporting company goals and objectives, and promoting company values and accountabilities



Any other duties appointed by your direct manager



Profile



The ideal candidate should have



A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management/Business and/or equivalent



A minimum of 3 years HR experience in retail



A comprehensive understanding of employee legislation



Strong interpersonal skills
