Finance Manager





The Opportunity





An exciting opportunity is now available for an experience Finance Manager to join the team at Central Healthcare Services on an 18-month maximum term basis based at our head office in Dandenong.





Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the Finance Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the CHS finance function ensuring all customer and compliance requirements are met.





Key Responsibilities include





Management Accounting





Responsibility for the general ledger, financial transactions and accurate and timely preparation of monthly management accounts





Accurate analysis and interpretation of financial results for use by the Board and Senior Management







Management of the reconciliation of general ledger accounts





Full responsibility for the following functions including day to day operations and team management and development activities Accounts Payable





Accounts Receivable and Credit





Support business development and commercial activities within CHS by optimising contracts and commercial agreements with customers and providing other financial support





Develop planning tools, labour planning reporting and agreed pharmacy service level matrix for application across current and new CHS customers





Planning and Analysis





Analyse and report monthly management account results for senior management review





Undertake a wide range of ad hoc financial analysis for management





Analysis of internal reporting to monitor financial performance, stock levels, working capital and other key financial metrics





Financial & Statutory Accounting





Management of capital expenditure requests in accordance with budget and delegations of authority





Maintain and reconcile Fixed Asset Register and general ledger





Support with statutory accounts and notes for half / year end and management of the external audit





Assist Group finance with accounting papers and accounting positions as required





Up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards and the impact on company reporting





Responsibility for planning and completing the annual budget and group rolling quarterly forecast





Support the forecasting of the group-s labour cost





Assist senior management to develop business plan for regional and national growth





Assist with the preparation of the tax, GST and FBT returns





Assist with tax effect accounting on a monthly and year end basis





Ad hoc regulatory reporting on a needs basis





What we are looking for





7- years of relevant experience





Experience, knowledge and understanding of Australian Accounting Standards and IFRS





Experience in a Head Office accounting environment of a large private or publicly listed





Experience in a professional services environment highly regarded





Preparation of management and statutory accounts and reporting to senior management





Clear knowledge and understanding of finance processes within an ERP system environment





Demonstrated people management skills - motivating and leading a team to achieve successful business outcomes
