About the Role





The primary role of the IT Support Engineer is to provide day to day service and support to both internal and remote users, plus monitor and provide initial troubleshooting on critical systems. The role will be based at the Sydney Head office and responsible for New Zealand and Australia users. The role is a part of a larger IT team and there are opportunities for involvement across many different IT projects.





Key Responsibilities





Responsible for taking initial ownership of customer support issues and problem resolution.





Work to reduce ticket numbers through continuous innovation and research; ideas to be put forward that will solve repetitive issues.





The administration of critical user systems such as Google Admin, OKTA & Microsoft 365





Manage and prioritise workload based on agreed priorities rather than reacting to individual client demands





Monitor local servers and services, act as first level troubleshooting. This includes backup services, data circuits, MDM & file shares.





Work closely with the wider IT team to expand technical knowledge





Education and Qualifications





Successful completion of HSC or equivalent and IT related tertiary qualification would be considered essential.





Experience - Essential





Minimum 1 year in a similar role.





Sound general knowledge of IT systems and facilities, including both Windows and Google environments





A sound general knowledge and solid understanding of iPad and general IOS support





Understanding of networking principles in a corporate environment.





Ability to multitask and prioritise appropriately





Demonstrated effective communication skills, including telephone, face to face and Please apply through this site..

Experience - Preferred, Not Essential





Mobile Device Management MDM





OKTA/Sailpoint





Google G-Suite





Personal Qualities





Must be reliable & take pride in their work.





Written Communication - Demonstrated effective communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex concepts and issues to people of all computer skill levels





Peer Relationships & Standing Alone - Ability to work in a team environment, as well as alone and unsupervised as needed





Problem Solving - Demonstrated excellent problem solving and analytical abilities that can be applied across an entire enterprise





Good liaison and negotiation skills





Customer Focus - Commitment to excellent customer service concepts including effective management of feedback and complaints





Time Management - Ability to work in a busy environment with frequent interruptions and ability to meet deadlines and prioritise work to meet changing requirements
