The Opportunity





This is an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced individual with superior communication and interpersonal skills to provide proactive, high quality People & Culture advice and support to the business, ensuring the effective and consistent implementation and delivery of strategies and initiatives. The HR Business Partner is a single point of for business units, working closely with leadership teams to achieve shared organisational goals, including the designing and implementing HR systems and processes.This is a 6 Month Fixed Term opportunity with potential to extend.





Duties and Responsibilities





As a HR Business Partner you will





Partner, influence and coach senior management and their teams, managing all People & Culture related enquiries for the business unit.





Lead the development and implementation of employees- engagement, succession planning, career development and talent management strategies





Attract, retain and develop talent to complement TransGrid-s values and behaviours





Provide timely and informed first level advice and assistance to managers in resolving issues including conflict, grievances, poor performance, performance management discussions and industrial relations disputes





Develop and implement the people plan for the business unit in line with TransGrid-s People & Culture strategy





Assist in developing and implementing appropriate change management strategies





Participate in the development of Organisational Development programs and their delivery





Skills & Experience





What we expect from you





Experience in similar role





Tertiary qualifications at degree level in human resources management, organisational development, business or a related field and/or relevant demonstrated experience





Demonstrated high level of knowledge and understanding of human resource concepts and practices andsho w these are applied within an organisation





Demonstrated high level knowledge and influencing skills in customer experience and stakeholder management





High level of analytical skills and the ability to work independently





High level written, presentation, negotiation and verbal communication skills





Demonstrated ability to manage and deliver on multiple priorities and projects
