Motor Claims Consultant



Commencing Monday , this opportunity will see you help support our customers through effective and efficient processing and end to end management of motor claims. Reporting to the Motor Claims Team Leader, you will be responsible for delivering an excellent customer experience when lodging a motor vehicle claim. You will be the main point of for customers and will see you liaise with internal and external stakeholders to manage the end to end motor claims process.

You will work on a rotating roster anywhere between 6.00am - 6.00pm Monday to Friday and 600am - 3.00pm one rotating Saturday or Sunday every 2 weeks.

Key accountabilities include



Use effective communication skills to obtain complete and accurate information regarding circumstances and damages surrounding the claim

Use effective analysis skills and decision making to assess relevant information and make accurate decisions for claim acceptance

Assisting customers through the claims process, setting realistic expectations and providing effective solutions

Provide correct and timely information to resolve customer queries via phone or Please apply through this site.

Act as first point of for client complaints and resolve these through listening and negotiation

Knowledge and Experience

We are looking for someone with experience in a fast-paced customer service environment and who has the confidence to take responsibility for liability determination and claims acceptance. You will have an inclusive state of mind and the ability to work alongside a diversity of colleagues someone who values all unique perspectives.

Key requirements include

experience within a claims or customer service role

Solid working knowledge of insurance legislation and procedures preferred, not essential

Demonstrated experience in dealing with customers in challenging situations

Excellent interpersonal skills

Strong written and verbal communication

Ability to manage time effectively, prioritise tasks and work under pressure

Experience with conflict resolution
