Callidus Process Solutions corporate headquarters is in Balcatta, Western Australia supporting a growing network of workshops in Adelaide, Darwin, Karratha, Brisbane, New Caledonia, Madagascar Toamasina and the Philippines Manila. We also have a specialised welding division, Callidus Welding Solutions.

About the role

A fantastic opportunity has become available for a proactive and enthusiastic Administrator for an immediate start to support our busy Special Projects team. Callidus's Special Projects team specialises in rare materials such as Titanium & Ceramics, liaising with multiple clients both nationally and internationally

Administrator- Special Projects

This position will report to the Team Leader - Special Projects and will be responsible for

Opening jobs as required;

Quoting on jobs to Clients

Keeping track of stock levels and ordering stock where necessary and producing reports

Liaising with Internal and External clients and suppliers in remote and foreign locations

Updating databases and document control;

Issuing purchase orders to suppliers and subcontractors;

Expediting orders & spares where necessary;

Creating and issuing materials requisitions

Providing support to the Manager to allow the team to meet promised delivery dates.

Ideally you will have the following

Given the highly specialised nature of our work, its preferable that you have administrative experience in a similar industry which requires technical understanding

Demonstrated reliability & consistency in carrying out duties & responsibilities

Experience working with clients in overseas locations

experience with Microsoft NAVISION preferred but not essential

Substantial skills with Microsoft Excel

Strong verbal and written communication skills

You will need to possess an excellent phone manner, outstanding organizational and time management skills and high attention to detail

Ability to work as part of a team as well as on your own
