We are currently looking for a brilliant Claims Assessor with Retail or Group experience for our formidable Claims team. You will be providing a personal and empathetic service to all Life Customers and be responsible for the proficient management, and assessment of all Life Claims within the stated authority limits.

You will be joining a small,

intimate and focused team and an organisation that always has the customer at the forefront of their minds. An organisation that feels like a family, where your actions making a meaningful impact to people-s lives.





You will be responsible for





Assessing and managing claims within authority limits

Review and sign-off assessments and claim benefit payments for the Claims team

Assist with data for claims reporting

Claims general customer service enquiries

System testing as required

Mapping of claims processes





As the successful candidate, you are someone who has





Proven experience in a similar role and demonstrated dedication to service and operational excellence

3- years- experience in claims assessment

Prior retail Life Insurance claims experience a must

Knowledge of relevant legislation and governing principles

Relevant tertiary qualification preferred

Customer service orientation

Analytical skills, ability to problem solve, empathy and integrity

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency in MS Office suite
