Essential requirements - candidates must

obtain and maintain the requisite security clearance for this role.

hold a current driver's licence with no traffic offences recorded on their driving history within the last six 6 months.

relevant tertiary qualifications e.g. Social Work, Psychology, Community Welfare.

demonstrated industry experience in the family or community sector.

ability to deliver education and training packages in relation the Family Support role.

To be eligible to apply for this role, you must meet one of the following statuses

a New Zealand Citizen.

Responsibilities The Family Support Coordinator FSC provides a short-term information, advice and referral service, that supports the families of ill and injured employees. The Family Support Coordinator works in partnership and collaboration with other internal and external supports to build resiliency, improve social connections, supports and coping skills of families.

Key accountabilities

all families within 24 hrs of referral where appropriate and process family support activities within required timeframes to ensure service delivery.

Conduct needs assessments of families seeking assistance to provide professional and informed information, advice and referrals to families and where necessary case management services.

Maintain integrity, security and confidentiality of the with families.

Develop and deliver training/education programs to NSWPF workers about the role, support services available and general psychological wellbeing information.

Maintain accurate case files in line with legislation and policy .

Maintain accurate statistics and meet internal and external reporting requirements.

Develop appropriate policy, procedures and marketing to support the role and services.

Key challenges

Operating in a sensitive environment with a need to exercise considerable tact, discretion and confidentiality.

Managing time, setting expectations and prioritising issues or services, across multiple work demands from several sources.

Managing interactions with family members remotely over large geographical regio>
