Best Bar is the largest independent supplier of concrete reinforcement products in Australia. Due to our continuous growth, a fantastic opportunity is now available in Truganina for a person to assist our HR Department. We are looking for a motivated all rounder to join our dynamic team.





The Human Resources Advisor is responsible for providing support to all key managers across the business entities with regard to generalist Human Resources HR activities. The position will focus on providing guidance in respect of HR policy and relevant legislation ensuring compliance with the companies Policies and Procedures,

with an aim to achieve effective utilisation of people to ensure the business maintains safe operational efficiency and delivers its objectives. This position will provide support Nationally to all sites.





The position





Reporting to the National Human Resources Manager, your duties will include but not limited to-





Provide day to day coaching and advice to mangers to facilitate planning and decision making in areas such as recruitment, development and local restructuring requirements





Take the lead in managing employee and industrial relations at the relevant level working with all stakeholders





Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR systems and practices





Deliver integrated human resources activities as needed





Assist with Union negotiations





Be proactive with legislative and HR requirements relating to Workers Compensation claims





We are looking for someone to be self managed, be able to work independently, and focused on results.The ideal candidate will have at least 3 - 5 years working experience in a similar capacity and have a thorough understanding of Manufacturing processes.Exposure to National systems would be highly advantageous.





Experience Needed





Qualifications in HR or equivalent is essential





Cert IV TAE





Demonstrated experience in Enterprise agreement process, bargaining, negotiations and interpretation of agreements and awards.





Demonstrated experience in policy, procedure development, writing and formatting documents compliant with legislation.





Demonstrated experience in preparing complex Fairwork documents and dealings with Fair Work Commission.





Demonstrated experience and thorough understanding of Workplace Safety and Risk Management.





Demonstrated experience in providing high level advice in relation to all HR Matters, in particular employee relations and Industrial relation matters





Demonstrated experience in complaints and grievance management and performance management process





Workers Compensation case management





Excellent written and communication skills
