Job Description

- Permanent Fulltime Position

- Critical role in the success of our Asset Management Team

About You

You are a detailed and process focussed individual who can provide clarity and direction in support of operational delivery in ensuring the hospital buildings and equipment are kept in a safe and usable condition, allowing for their efficient utilisation and overall effectiveness.

You will be a team player who is customer focussed and able to engage clearly with a diverse group of stakeholders You’re a respectful and professional person who demonstrates exceptional values in everything you do.

About The Role

Reporting to the Asset Manager, you will be responsible for contributing to the successful management and improvement of the Asset Management System at Fiona Stanley Hospital. This includes but is not limited to ensuring the asset register is accurate, up to date and able to provide usable quality information to stakeholders, conducting condition assessments, project management, process development and implementation and delivery of maturity activities as required.

To Be Successful In This Position, You Will Have

- The highest levels of integrity and ethical behaviour

- Diploma or equivalent qualification in Mechanical / Civil Engineering or extensive experience in Asset Management

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in asset life-cycle management including acquisition, storage and disposal in an engineering environment

- Demonstrated experience within a Facilities Management environment in similar position

- Proven experience in the development of process, procedures and work instructions

- Resilience to manage ambiguity and an ability to adapt your approach to gain commitment form people in differing situations

- Highly developed Stakeholder management with the ability to manage expectations

The following are desirable but not essential”

- Financial / Accounting experience in asset management

- Experience in Quantity Surveying / Asset Capitalisation

- Understanding of Planned Preventative Maintenance & Reliability Centred Maintenance Schedules in a hospital environment

- Understanding of ISO 55000 standards
