About The VEC

We have an opportunity for a Project Officer to join the VEC's Electoral Integrity and Regulation (EIR) branch. The EIR branch is responsible for administering the VEC's electoral compliance,
enforcement and regulatory activities, which includes our Funding and Disclosure Unit. The FDU is responsible for administering and enforcing Victoria's political funding and donation disclosure obligations on behalf of the Electoral Commissioner.
About The Role
The VEC is looking for a highly organised individual to provide project coordination and administration support to the VEC's EIR branch. The Project Officer will provide a systematic and organised approach to coordinating and contributing to projects, including administration, stakeholder management and reporting.
In this fixed-term role, the Project Officer will work on developing and analysing a register of external stakeholder advice relating to the VEC's funding and disclosure activities.

We're looking for somebody who can work autonomously, and someone who can manage and deliver on competing priorities. You are a critical thinker with outstanding problem-solving skills, and you are able to collaborate and engage with multiple stakeholders as required.
Our ideal candidate is somebody who can quickly learn and understand the VEC's business, and who has an interest in learning more about funding and disclosure in Victoria.
You will bring your ability to critically read.
