About the role:

Based at our Bairnsdale campus you will build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to increase the accessibility and support to the Koorie community to participate in education. To achieve this you will foster and maintain relationships with the Koorie community and Koorie organisations to facilitate the identification of training and education needs whilst participating in activities that promote TAFE Gippsland.

TAFE Gippsland is a child safe organisation.

You’ll need:

Current Drivers Licence

A valid Working with Children Check (WWC) Assessment Notice and/or WWC Card. (Further information and how to apply for a WWC can be obtained from www.justice.vic.gov.au/workingwithchildren/)

Current (less than 12 months old) satisfactory National Police Check

Strong and proven links to with the indigenous community in the Gippsland area

Significant recent experience, understanding and involvement in Koorie and/or mainstream education
