About the Role
We currently have a great opportunity for a Procurement Specialist to join our MAURI procurement team on an initial 12-month secondment. You will be responsible for providing support for select direct and indirect procurement and related activity across Australia and New Zealand, engaging effectively with all key stakeholders.
This role will assist with the development and implementation of category strategies for nominated Mauri categories and work with other procurement teams and key stakeholders across GWF consistent with the “first among equals” principle.
In addition, you will also enjoy supporting negotiations with key suppliers ensuring risks are identified and managed; execute robust supplier performance management / supplier relationship management process to deliver incremental value to Mauri.
You will also gain exposure working with Category Managers and we will train you to support tendering and driving eSourcing adoption, through to online contract approvals and contract management using best practice procurement tools.
The ideal candidate will have a great attitude, highly adept analytical and problem-solving abilities, strong communication and interpersonal skills and confidence in influencing stakeholders both internally and externally in the business. In addition, you will have proven experience identifying and deploying process improvements and some exposure to change management and encouraging continuous improvement and change.
