This role is a unique opportunity to actively contribute to the health and safety of the Australian Public by ensuring that complementary medicines supplied in Australia are safe and efficacious.
As an evaluator, you will use your excellent analytical skills and scientific knowledge to review and assess scientific data to prepare scientific recommendations, reports and guidelines for the registration of complementary medicines.
You will need to evaluate complex scientific data within legislative deadlines and make sound regulatory conclusions before products can be supplied to the Australian market to ensure they are safe, of high quality and efficacious. You will liaise, engage and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve complex issues. This role will also involve providing strategic advice and technical expertise to contribute to continuous improvement and regulatory reform activities.
Ideally, our client is seeking to recruit an individual who will either have some regulatory affairs experience or a strong background in analyzing scientific data and writing technical reports.
In order to be considered for this role, you will have the following skills and qualifications:
- A PhD in science, chemistry, epidemiology, biology, pharmacy or any other relevant discipline.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to write reports
- A good understanding of TGA guidelines will be highly appreciated but is not necessary
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise.
