About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join our Asset Strategy team on a full-time basis.
The role of the Asset Management Strategy Officer is to support effective development, planning and integration of Council’s infrastructure strategies and programs with the Asset Management Strategy and Plans.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Data handling – Data cleansing and improvements
- Data management - Importing contractor data, managing reporting and providing assistance with asset reporting.
- Ensuring consistency between data used for asset management and accounting purposes
- Monitoring the quality of data and modify data collection and maintenance workflows as necessary.
- Assisting with asset capitalisation and valuation tasks where appropriate
About the person
We are open to candidates of all skill levels and experience including graduates, accountants, data analysts, engineers, GIS officers, or other candidates with strong data experience and excel skills.
The Asset Management Strategy Officer will be supported to develop their skills with in data analytics and predictive modelling.
