Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) is seeking a dynamic Services Manager to join our team at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.
Do you have relevant tertiary qualifications and/or experience in health services management, health administration or a related equivalent discipline with a demonstrated ability to interpret legislation and policies that apply to the provision of NSW public health services,
including expert knowledge of the Medicare Benefits Schedule and its role in the area of non-admitted patient services and excellent organisational skills and experience working in a demanding professional environment with a capacity to prioritise, multi-task and work with a customer focused approach?
Your new role...
The Services Manager Ambulatory Care Business Unit (ACBU), is responsible for supporting the organisational objectives of ACBU, with a particular emphasis on operational and strategic objectives. This includes driving the implementation of revenue, acidity and other service improvements to ensure RPA Hospital’s outpatient services meet SLHD and Ministry of Health performance targets.
The Services Manager is also responsible for providing operational support to a large number of outpatient clinics, including identifying opportunities to improve communication, training and support for clinic staff, as well as improvements to the patient, family and carer experience.
The position is to work closely with and under the direction of the Operations Manager, ACBU.
