The Role

The purpose of the role and your unique contribution is to execute plans that deliver on IAG’s implementation and governance of accountability regimes, fit and proper, and other related obligations.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and analyse changes in the internal and external operating environment which necessitate changes to organisational governance frameworks, artefacts, structures, and/or processes.
Maintain and refine key framework elements, including Accountability Statements, Accountability Maps, and key personnel registers (e.g. Fit and Proper, Accountable Persons), policies and processes.
Support the development and maintenance of IAG’s reasonable steps framework, including reporting.
Liaise with Group Risk to ensure all necessary regulatory notification obligations are met, including in relation to breaches.
Develop communications materials and tools, in accordance with agreed plan, to support ongoing education, awareness and understanding.
Provide insights and reporting on key events and trends relating to governance, culture, remuneration and accountability.
Support coordination and reporting for relevant management forums and Board Committees
Work with internal stakeholders to inform decision making and actions related to accountability and consequence management.

Skills & Experience
3+ years’ experience in a Risk Management or Governance role, either in a regulated organisation of significant complexity or consulting to such organisations.
Proven ability to actively keep abreast of changes in external environment, including regulatory change, and translate into internal environment.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in order to achieve agreed outcomes in a timely manner

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated attention to detail to ensure accuracy of research and data
Strong stakeholder management skills to build effective, collaborative partnerships with a range of internal and external stakeholders
Able to adapt, respond and lead through changing external and internal environmental factors
