Seeking experiencedFraud Risk Managerto join the Operational Risk Business Unit at a large Financial Institution.
Well qualified candidates will have gained an in-depth understanding of Fraud Management and Operational Risk Frameworks, will demonstrate capability to operate at a strategic level and have high level, analytical thinking in order to lead risk projects at senior level.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare risk assessments on new product offerings and change initiatives. Advise Product and Project teams on potential fraud risks/impacts
Engage and consult relevant areas with the Bank to develop action plans that effectively manage identified Fraud risk and ensure these are captured in business requirements

Identify impacts arising from broader business change initiatives. Coordinate necessary responses and consultation back to the business. Facilitate development of SLA’s where required and ensure that these are reflected in metrics/reporting
Prepare recommendations for sign off on behalf of Fraud
Engagement with Fraud Reporting teams to ensure accurate reflection of fraud expense over time
Extract and provide analytical comment and develop fraud scenarios relevant to the business units products and processes, as agreed with business units, to assist in the review of product controls
Delivery of assigned projects within agreed service standards

Experiences / skills required

The candidate will have Senior Manager and “Head of” relationship and influencing skills
Experience / industry knowledge of risk management techniques and processes in a relevant industry is essential
Understanding of fraud management within the banking sector and Operational Risk Frameworks
Ability to make decisions and recommendations as the subject matter expert
Knowledge of Banking and Finance and experience in business consulting
Demonstrated ability to deliver research reports including development of new/leading methodology
Demonstrated capability to operate at a strategic level
Experience in writing of business requirement documents
Degree qualified in Law, Accounting, Commerce or Economics or equivalent is desired
