Join the team
As an IT Risk Analyst,
you will be joining Kmart’s GRC & Assurance team which is a crucial part of one of the largest retail cyber security teams in Australia. You will be at the forefront of safeguarding our organisation from cyber threats and risks. You will be responsible for completing risk assessments for 3rd party vendors and internal teams to help protect the Kmart business.
Our GRC team thrives on tackling cutting-edge challenges and is currently engaged in the latest projects that Kmart are delivering, which are shaping the future of our business. The work you will be doing matters.
Your expertise as an IT Risk Analyst will be honed using the latest tools like UpGuard and Secure Code Warrior. Collaborating closely with a diverse group including your fellow Risk Analysts, a Security Awareness Specialist, and talented graduates, you'll be part of a collaborative environment where you can learn from experienced professionals.
What you’ll be doing
Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for both internal processes and external third-party vendors.
Manage the technology risk register
Build rapport with stakeholders to understand the work they are doing, and the risks involved.
Explore ISO27001 with a continuous focus on best practice.
Manage and oversee audit processes, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Proactively identify vulnerabilities and recommend solutions to strengthen our information security framework.
Writing executive summaries for senior leaders of the Kmart business
To be successful in this role you’ll have:
Expert knowledge in compliance frameworks such as PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, NIST, and adeptly applying them to ensure security protocols.
Demonstrated experience in conducting risk assessments, preferably in a retail or complex business environment.
Strong knowledge of audit management processes and practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong attention to detail
Experience securing cloud services would be highly desirable
