Our newest addition to the Augustus Gelatery franchise is coming to Bendigo in September and we are on the hunt for a dedicated and reliable Assistant Store Manager!
Applicants must have previous hospitality and/or retail experience. Leadership experience is highly preferred but not necessary.
As Assistant Store Manager you will be expected to co-manage a team of up to approximately 25 staff members and share duties like completing rosters, implementing policies and procedures and upholding Head Office expectations. Excellent organisation and communication skills are a must!

Responsibilities include assisting the Store Manager with the following:
- Oversee daily operations of the store to maintain smooth procedures
- Maintain store cleanliness and appearance
- Managing teams
- Weekly rostering
- Hiring and training new staff
- Communicate between head office and employee
- Ordering of stock and supplies through head office
- Performance appraisals
- Conduct staff meetings
This is a casual position. The store will be open 365 days so applicants must have high and flexible summer availability including a mixture of days, late nights and weekend work. Position paid under Fast Food Industry Award rates.

Salary: $23.55 – $47.09 per hour
