Document Controller
We are currently seeking a highly experienced Document Controller! We offer a flexible working environment with the ability to work from home 2 days a week along with 5 week’s annual leave.

We are currently seeking a highly experienced Document Controller to provide expert guidance and support in controlling management system documents including new project establishment,
management systems maintenance, and digital and physical archiving.

The successful candidate will possess relevant qualifications or equivalent experience in a civil contractor environment. This role will suit a motivated self-starter with the ability to adapt and work effectively in a pressure environment. This is a full-time permanent opportunity and is in our Corporate Head Office at Milton. We offer a flexible working environment with the ability to work from home 2 days a week along with 5 week’s annual leave.
Key Role Tasks include:
Assist owners and custodians to create documents in accordance with the authorised Golding Management System templates and style guides.
Perform document administration for documents in the Golding Management System (SharePoint).
Report on management systems metrics
Manage Online subscription services for reference documents such as Australian Standards
Assist in the establishment of document management practices for new projects in consideration of Golding and client document management requirements.
Assist in repatriating and organisation documents post project where those documents have been managed on non-Golding owned/controlled systems
Administer the archiving policy for corporate and project documentation, including the tracking and disposal of physical content through its lifecycle
Work with Divisions, departments,
and projects to build consistent document management practices aligned with the business classification schema and the security classification and retention and disposal standards.
Key Capability requirements:
The ability to prioritise tasks with conflicting timeframes and work unsupervised
Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Microsoft Word
Familiar with SharePoint
Communication including oral, written and interpersonal and the ability to interact with all levels including internal, external stakeholders and clients.
Participate in audits, inspections, and observations to recognise good work and identify improvement opportunities.
Communicate Business Improvement Ideas you believe will improve business outcomes; and
Participate, as a team member, in Business Improvement Projects as required.
