The purpose of this role is to allocate stock and manage replenishments to ensure balanced stock and product assortment within stores, to achieve business KPIs such as sales budgets, gross profit, gross profit percentage, and stock turns.

Key duties and responsibilities:

- Allocate to agreed timelines and ensure delivery targets are met.
- Ensuring that model stocks and/or rate of sale is correctly managed from the allocation plan, by store, by style, by size in the system.
- Manage stock levels of the categories, ensuring the right mix and depth of product, reviewing best sellers, and advising on of poor performers.




- Manage stock requirements in store to meet variances in demand and promotional calendars, i.e. BTS, EID and Black Friday/Boxing Day Sale
- Provide weekly stock allocation updates to the relevant business unit (stores, marketing, merchandise)
- Overall support in the planning department with general admin and ad hoc tasks to ensure a smooth workflow and meeting of targets.
- Working with Planners in optimising stock flow/allocation efficiency e.g. ratio packs, Xdock, Carton quantities
- Prepare, monitor, follow-up and communicate the warehouse dispatch and outstanding report to ensure smooth flow of allocations to stores, taking appropriate action.
- Compile and publish the Intake Report daily.
- Prepare and present new store opening range plans as required.
- Assist stores with any ad hoc queries regarding product, stocks, and customer requirements.




- Ensure monthly store visits are conducted to gain insight into customer, results of allocations done and identifying opportunities.
- Ensure that knowledge and application of our systems is kept up to date.
- Communicate promptly and effectively and with business partners like our Stores, IT, DC, Marketing, E-commerce.
- Manage own personal development and growth through being involved in the department and in being aware of strengths and challenges to ensure that appropriate support is sought in striving to improve performance.

- You have previous retail/wholesale planning experience within a similar role for a period of 1-2 years
