Position Overview:
As an Embedded Software Engineer,
you will play a key role in developing and integrating software for our cutting-edge system.
Your will create robust and scalable solutions on ARM or STM microchips platforms for low-power, high-reliability applications.
You will work closely with a talented team of engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement embedded software solutions
Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure efficient integration of software with the hardware design
Optimize software performance and efficiency, considering resource limitations of embedded systems.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging of software components to identify and resolve issues promptly.
Participate in the full software lifecycle for requirements and specification through to deployment and support
Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in embedded systems development and cloud integration.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with a real time operating system, such as FreeRTOS
- Solid experience in embedded systems development, including ARM /STM, Microchip PIC, or similar
- Strong proficiency in C/C++ and Python. Javascript experience is a plus.
- SQL or NoSQL database experience.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Agile processes and Test Driven Development.
- Familiarity with UML or similar design tools.
- Knowledge of low-level device drivers, protocols, and communication interfaces.
