The primary purpose of this Internal Sales role is to ensure a pro-active approach to outbound sales calls to a designated customer base, with a view to growing sales revenues. The secondary purpose of this role is to provide administrative support to the external sales team to assist with their productivity.
The key duties and responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Achieve personal and team Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
- Actively manage a portfolio of accounts and ensure budget achievement
- Support the sales team with administrative support as required
- Proactively initiate outbound sales calls with a view of promoting new business development
- Ensure inbound sales enquiries are followed up in a timely manner
- Prepare and follow up on any sales quotations
- Assist with any customer service queries on behalf of the sales team
- Undertake ad hoc tasks as required
Requirements :
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Enthusiastic and ambitious with a strong desire to learn
- Proven ability to identify sales opportunities (Not essential)
- Computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook
