The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity exists within the TMO Unit to join the team as the TMO HR and Roster Support Officer, ASO3.

The TMO Unit HR & Roster Support Officer is responsible for specific HR coordinator services relating to Trainee Medical Officers (TMOs) recruitment, onboarding and orientation. This role contributes to the development and coordination of the Paediatric Medicine afterhours roster and the maintenance of a coordinated of leave planer for TMOs.

The HR Support & Rostering Officer works collaboratively with the HR Department, Clinical Services and Centre for Education and Training (CET), AHPRA, Australasian Medical Colleges,

SAMET and Department of Home Affairs to provide support and advice to TMOs.

You will be immersed in the TMO Unit and further develop your Administration skills in an ASO3 role, within this dynamic, fast paced environment.

Essential Requirements:

- Ability to maintain both integrity and confidentiality in dealing with issues of a sensitive nature.
- Ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, to a wide range of people on a range of sensitive and complex issues.
- Ability to work independently and under limited direction to meet deadlines and achieve agreed outputs whilst working with demanding and sometimes competing priorities.
- Demonstrated ability in the use of office application software including Access data-base and publisher.
- Experience in the rostering of Trainee Medical Officers
- Experience in a Human Resources coordinator role
