We’re on the lookout for a passionate, charismatic and creativeAssociate Directorin the business technology sector (software, services, telecommunications, etc.). You’ll be working on some of the world’s best-known brands, delivering award-winning campaigns,

telling captivating stories across different channels, and inspiring real business change.
The role will see you leading a best-in-class team working across Microsoft’s corporate and commercial activities, as well as two to three other brands from our business technology portfolio.

You are charismatic and personable, capable of confidently leading a passionate team and making brave decisions.
You think smart but act fast, steering integrated communications campaigns that drive real business change for clients.
You know good content when you see it.
You have experience working with some of the world’s biggest brands, the trailblazers, the ‘disruptors,’ the industry leaders. You want to continue this journey, working with clients to set new standards in communications both locally and globally with an experience-led, content first approach.
While you’ll be directly responsible for running and growing your accounts, you will be an active member of Howorth’s leadership team, responsible for our growth, our people, our profile and our business development. You’ll also receive support from specialist leaders in opr, including digital and social, creative, content, and strategy and planning.
You will be seen as an emerging company leader. You’ll be expected to have high levels of accountability and responsibility to lead and drive your clients.

Relevant Experience
10 + years’ experience, preferably in a PR agency or an in-house environment with proven record in business technology comms
Experience in developing good professional relationships
In-depth knowledge of business technology market trends (digital transformation, skills, trust and responsibility, cloud, etc.)
Ability to take lead role in devising media and creative strategy, advising your clients on the best approach to create and tell their stories
A high level of attention to detail, with a focus on delivering outstanding results
Impeccable writing skills and a skilled editor
A great mentor, critic and supporter – a proven team leader
Tight project management - from formulation to evaluation
Exceptional at managing and prioritising your time with multiple clients
