Note 2: (if role will transfer to acquirer): This role will transfer to a different business after completion of the current Wealth Sale ANZ Wealth business provides customers with investment, superannuation, insurance and advice solutions, via ANZ channels and financial advisers. It is focused on bringing people closer to their wealth to help them see, shape and secure its potential. This role reports to the Manager, Remediation Systems, and is responsible for creating and enhancing systems to provide fast, stable and efficient platforms for achieving remediation insights, decision making, and automation of business processes. Key accountabilities include but not limited to the following: Build strong working relationships with the business and make sure you understand business drivers and requirements Deliver timely, accurate analysis, development, and reporting for the Wealth Remediation project Lead various systems management and enhancement tasks such as developing new systems whilst ensuring to maintain & update existing systems, integrate data sources, update infrastructure, productionisation, prioritise business processes acceleration through technology, translate business requirements into technical solutions, improve system performance and stability, resolve defects Lead and mentor less experiences colleagues Ensure compliance with the ANZ IT procedures, in line with the security and IT management standards About You To be successful in the role, you should have the following skills, knowledge and experiences: Experience leading or coaching a team is a plus Strong ability to analyse data, solve problems through system and data development, experience with the following technologies: VBA (required) SQL (required) Python (required) Experience with basic networking and infrastructure (highly desirable) SSIS (highly desirable) C# (highly desirable) SQL Server Database Administration (desirable) Microsoft Power BI (desirable) Formal production release processes (desirable) The following would be an advantage: Familiarity with remediation systems, especially automation of remediation processes Undergraduate degree in IT and proven experience in financial planning sector Experience with data ETL development / programming for data extraction validation, cleansing and analysis Familiarity with data modelling Experience with system analysis, design, and development for data centric systems Strong interpersonal, oral and written communications skills Proactive approach to problem solving and process improvement Critical thinking and strong analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail About ANZ At ANZ, everything we do boils down to ‘why’ – our purpose – to shape a world where people and communities thrive.
