This division within Wealth Management is looking for a risk management advice senior manager to lead a team and provide a comprehensive compliance, regulatory and risk services including risk management advice. Your new role
As the senior Manager, you will work with the risk leadership team to help drive operational improvements that aim to reduce the overall risk profile of the group?s multiple advice brands.
Your responsibilities will include:
Developing, changing and implementing controls associated with reducing the risk of licensees.
Completing end to end procurement and risk assessments.
Creating and implementing risk in change reports.
Promoting a strong risk culture across the licensees and their shared services.
Contributing to risk reporting to the licensee risk committee.
Presenting at professional development days and relevant industry conferences.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in the role you will need a strong background in operational risk, ideally from within an advice business. A solid working knowledge of current advice policies, operating procedures and processes and the associated risk of an advice business are highly desirable. Strong controls experience is essential.
