Senior Executive opportunity for someone those with Military experience at the O6/7 level (psc required).Your new Company:

Your new company is an innovative leader in providing training systems and services support to the defence industry. This expanding and global company provides defence services, support and maintenance for training systems. You will be joining the company at an exciting development phase and gain unique exposure to the private defence business in Canberra. They are looking for someone fresh out of the Australian Defence force with existing NV2 or Top-Secret clearance, to Manage persons responsible for identification and planning of future Joint Exercises,

simulation systems and capability development requirements for Defence. PSC is required. About the Opportunity For this senior executive-level management role, you will have significant autonomy and responsibility for outcomes in a direct, customer facing role within a combined Defence and Public Service environment.

Your new role:

You will achieve strategic outcomes through assisting Defence to target training outcomes to the training audience in a manner that achieves strategic outcomes. You will conduct stakeholder engagement and brief senior executive members throughout the joint exercise life cycle including during exercise development, planning and conduct. Provide leadership insight into your team based on broad and deep senior Joint experience within the ADF. What you need to succeed.


Hands-on management style, commercial astute and motivated to undertake field operations.
Previous Military experience at the O6/7 level (psc required).
Experience in Coalition, Joint, Collective Training design, management and evaluation.
Tactical planning in a Joint environment.
Senior leader mentorship experience and excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Project management experience including responsibilities for project finance and reporting.
Experienced working in project delivery within the military / defence environment.
Excellent organisation skills coupled with an ability to pre-empt problems and resolve them promptly.
An ability to lead several teams of professionals and evidence a solid collective training background.
