About your role:
The Establishment Survey (ES) is a large-scale ongoing telephone-based survey used to determine trends and shifts in the Australian population. It is the cornerstone of Television Audience Measurement.
AsSurvey Database Coordinator,you will be involved in maintaining the data and information related to the Establishment Survey. Your responsibilities will include:
Sampling of telephone numbers
Processing of completed surveys including data cleansing
Maintaining and supporting external databases which integrate the external data with ES results
Monitor progressive performance in relation to completes, completion rates, levels of non-contact, geographic imbalances and alert as required
Prepare interim tabulations of progressive results on a weekly basis for internal evaluation, and external reports on ES performance on a quarterly basis
Coordinate with relevant internal & external stakeholders in administering questionnaire design, reviewing database construction as required, ensuring that final specification is tested and implemented
A problem-solver in investigating and suggesting alternative methodologies and method of collection
Working in conjunction with the Panel Control Senior Statistician (and other service extensions) in preparing cleaned database of ES respondents recruitment for panel management
Ensuring that documentation is well-maintained and current for ISO audits purposes
Providing general statistical support to the team as required
Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Statistics or related fields
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, exposure to programming languages such as SAS/R/Python would be desirable
A multitasker with good interpersonal & communication skills
A good team player, resourceful, problem solver and results-oriented capability
Experience working in a related industry would be preferred
