Your day to day
We are currently looking for a Key Account Manager, based in Melbourne, who is responsible for managing their assigned account base and develop new business across segments including Group & Meeting, Corporate, BTA, Government and other market segments to meet revenue goals. Revenue generation is for primarily for the Australasian region as well as supporting the IHG global footprint.
Reporting into the Key Account Director - Corporate, this role will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing accounts within specific segments and markets while increasing current account production in line with targets.
We require you to be able to develop and execute strategic account plans along with bringing strong client management, problem solving and negotiation skills. Effective communication skills along with your ability to exceed targets and "think outside of the box" to deliver these targets is key to success in this role.
What we need from you
To be successful in your application, you will currently hold an internationally recognised Business or Hospitality Management related Degree or Diploma, solid experience in promoting multiple hotel brands simultaneously with international and regional clients. A minimum of 2 years multi-unit hotel sales experience is preferred.
