About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join our positive and dedicated Paid Parking team.

Your main responsibilities will be to manage Council’s Paid Parking assets including its financial and contract management. On a day-to-day basis, you will be expected to manage contractual relationships, create & analyse databases & models and provide strategic input to corporate initiatives and strategies. To achieve this, you will be working as a leader of a team. Your work will enable Council to maintain a high level of customer service given the large volume of customer transactions in the use of Council’s multi-level carparks and parking meters.


About the person




Selection Criteria:


- Qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Business Management or similar/associated discipline.
- Extensive relevant industry experience of at least 10 years.
- Experience in managing large and complex contracts in a political environment.
- Experience in managing the needs of multiple stakeholders including the immediate team demonstrating high level communication, negotiation, advocacy and people management skills.
- High level financial management, data analysis, modelling, forecasting and budgeting skills.
- High level business acumen, writing and communication skills.

We are offering an attractive salary from $100,728 p.a. plus Super. City of Parramatta also offer excellent employee benefits which can be accessed by the successful candidate.


Participation in Council’s Motor Vehicle Scheme will be discussed with the successful applicant.
