Manager (Business Services)

As part of the Business Services team, you will provide outstanding services to local and international clients across a diverse range of industries. You will be a key contributor to our fast growing business and will help to build our future as well as your own career.

About The Job:

- Run a small team including reviewing work, co-ordinating the team to meet client expectations and managing workflow.
- Prepare financial statements, income tax returns, group tax summary and loan summary for corporate and family groups including Trusts, Companies, Partnerships, Individuals & SMSF’s

- Prepare payroll tax returns, FBT returns, activity statements

- Liaise with clients and other external service providers

- Work as part of a broader Business Services team reporting to Director level

- Collaborate as required with other Mazars services lines (Audit, Tax Consulting etc)

- Apply expert knowledge both within the firm and to your clients

- The majority of work will be completed in our offices in St Kilda Rd, with some work being done in our offices in Heidelberg and Ringwood

About You

- A minimum of 6 years' experience in Business Services/Accounting
- Hold a Chartered Accountants or Certified Practicing Accountant qualification

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- Enjoy creating strong client relationships

- Demonstrated problem solving and decision making skills

- Experience in delegating and reviewing junior team work essential

- Passionate about guiding and developing staff

- Experienced in Project Management

- Responsive to client changes

- Comfortable being ‘hands on’ and working alongside their team members to ensure client deadlines are met

- Experienced in MYOB Client Package

- Experience with APS preferred
