Monash Health is an impressive organisation of seven public hospitals, 21 community sites, five aged care facilities, university affiliated international research and tertiary education. We provide healthcare services available to over 1.3 million people, for the entire lifespan from pre-birth to palliative care and all stages in between, that supports the delivery of clinical care.
We understand the relationship between delivering a health service that puts our patients first,
and successfully recruiting the people who can make it happen. We now have an opportunity in our dedicated Recruitment Services team for a highly organised person to join us in a full time role until July 2020. This role will commence at our Kingston site and in October will move, with the team, to a new facility in Scoresby.
About the role
You will be a key contact in the team for the processing of recruitment requests, arranging and uploading advertising and processing employment contracts across Monash health. This will involve assisting managers when developing their recruitment requests, as well as liaising with external providers about the best avenues to advertise positions.
You may also be involved in the following tasks:
- Coordination of our annual work experience program for students in high school;
- Assisting with the administration and delivery of our monthly Corporate Induction;
- Our Staying Connected program for staff on parental leave;
- Processing of advertising invoices in a timely manner.
This role provides you with the opportunity to showcase your exceptional customer service skills (particularly over the phone) and to demonstrate your ability to work seamlessly across a series of tasks in a dynamic, high volume environment.
You understand the importance of service and process consistency, policy and systems compliance. You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and have an eagle eye for detail. You are highly organised with strong time management skills as well as proven ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
