You will be accountable for providing admissions and compliance related administrative and customer focussed services which ensure prospective and current students, international agents, Chisholm delivery service areas and external government regulators, receive quality customer-centric deliverables.
The role will focus on contributing to and working within established administrative and admissions related compliance processes and systems associated with international student applications, admissions, and variations to enrolments during international students’ period of study with Chisholm.
Develop and maintain an in-depth working knowledge of established systems and protocols designed to ensure ongoing compliance with the Education Services for Overseas Students (ESOS) Act, the National Code of Practice 2018, and any other legislative requirements associated with International Student offerings.
Assess overseas applications admission eligibility and liaise with line management and internal stakeholders to determine admission eligibility for non-standard applications, ensuring the highest quality and maximum application conversion rate and contributing to the improvement and maintenance of the Institute’s International Risk Rating.
Timely and accurate administration of international student offers (including issuance of offer letters, confirmation of enrolment documentation, deposit receipting, external service processing, and confirmation letter issuance.
Duties will involve issuance of offer letters, confirmation of enrolment variations and STRATA student record management. Other tasks may involve the timely and accurate administration of international student enrolment variations including deferrals, change of course preferences, extra modules as required.
Maintain relationships with external service providers such as health care, homestay and airport pickup to ensure quality client service and smooth business processes between Chisholm and the external providers.
You will have a relevant qualification at a minimum of post-secondary level or equivalent relevant experience. For this role it would be desirable if you have high level STRATA administration experience and a language other than English (e.g. Mandarin, Spanish, Vietnamese).
Crucial to your success will be your proven track record in providing quality administration support in a similar environment as well as a commitment to quality customer service to all stakeholders.
You are a highly motivated individual and team player able to work in a high-performing environment, you are able to balance competing priorities and deal with incoming work and office systems effectively. You will also have a strong capacity to develop knowledge of compliance requirements and the ability to ensure effective support for implementing these.
